As the UK’s best known do-it-yourself brand, B&Q uses a wide range of channels to reinforce core marketing and sales messages to a wide range of audiences, including of course, social media.

Like any retailer of this size, multiple teams and stakeholders are involved in the operational management, planning, execution and governance of social media, supporting different initiatives and campaigns.

To help further optimise B&Q’s setup and approach to social media, they asked slp consulting to conduct an audit of their current approach and, through a collaborative approach, provide future recommendations around their social media platform architecture, content development, content distribution, measurement and team structure.
